The village of Picena is a hamlet of neighbouring Laroles. The village is set on the south facing side of the Sierra Nevada's. Less than 10 kms away from the Puerto De Ragua and the Ragua Pass, a mountain reserve offering skiing, horse riding, forest walking and all outdoor pursuits.
